Charitable And Voluntary Contribution In The Holy Quran: A Study Between Concepts And Motives
Main Article Content
Abstract
Allah said: O you who believe! bow down and prostrate yourselves and serve your Lord, and do good that you may succeed. There is a clear statement, and a clear indication that charitable work is highly ranked and presented in Islam. The verse and many other Quranic verses did not separate the main pillar of Islam, which is prayer with its material rituals of bowing and prostrating, and doing good, and linking all of this with the peasant. This importance given to charitable work requires us to know the concept of the significance of charitable and voluntary work in the Holy Qur’an, mentioning the qualities and types of charitable work, as well as the motives for charitable work in the Holy Quran, and as a consequence of the foregoing the problem of research is focused on what is the significance of the characteristics and motives of charitable work in the Holy Quran?
