The Flow of Tarannum Study in the State of Kelantan Before and During Faridah Binti Mat Saman’s Era and Her Influence Towards Qari and Qariah in the State of Kelantan

Abstract
The state of Kelantan is a famous state with tarannum figure among qari and qariah. This also includes the most popular figure in tarannum among qariah which is Faridah binti Mat Saman. This article aims to highlight the flow of tarannum study in the state of Kelantan before and during Faridah binti Mat Saman’s era and her influence towards tarannum that recite by qari and qariah which trigger a positive development of tarannum studies in the State of Kelantan. The authors state that the era of Faridah bint Mat Saman was from 1948 to 1959 while the 1960s to 2018 were the time or during of her era. The results show that there is a change in the flow of tarannum study in this state and in Malaysia as well. This change takes place both before and during the era of Faridah Mat Saman in the flow of tarannum which is from Ḥijāzī to Miṣrī. However, these changes are intended to improve the tarannum itself and to produce a competitive and quality qari and qariah community. She also show that she had given a good influence to the reciter of tarannum which are qari and qariah in the State of Kelantan in order towards a positive development of tarannum studies in the State of Kelantan and Malaysia in general.
