Abstract
This research aims to demonstrate the style of repetition in the Holy Qur’an, which is one of the methods of rhetoric in the Arabic language, by studying the type of repetition in Sūrah Al-Shu‘arā’ through the interpretation of Ibn ‘Āshūr Al-Tunisi, known for liberation and enlightenment, and the inductive approach was used, Through the researcher's reading of Ibn ‘Āshūr's interpretation and identifying the places of repetition that he talked about in Sūrah Al-Shu‘arā’, then the analytical approach by defining its purpose and the reason for its selection and the benefits it provides accordingly and comparison with others, where the subject of the research was dealt with in two main parts, theoretical and practical, Theoretical side: Talk about the rhetorical connotations of repetition and the secrets of the statement in it, and monitor its goals and specify its purposes, whether the repetition is verbal or moral. The applied part of the research deals with the application of repetition to Sūrah Al-Shu‘arā’ from the interpretation of the scholar Ibn ‘Āshūr; this research concluded by proving the eloquence of the Holy Qur’an and refuting the repetition in it, specifically, the style of repetition is one of the beautiful rhetorical methods that were deposited in the Holy Qur’an because it influenced the hearing and the power of persuasion, and the proof of the argument against the opponents, And that there was no repetition in the Holy Qur’an without having different benefits that fit every context in which it came, Sūrah Al-Shu‘arā’ contained different types of repetitions that came for various beautiful purposes. Ibn ‘Āshūr excelled in speaking about them and highlighting the secrets and eloquence of the Noble Qur’an in this regar.
