The Miracles Of Biology In The Qur’an From A Scientific Perspective: An Overview

Abstract
The Qur’an, the book that was sent down by God, definitely has a lot of uniqueness. It covers a variety of disciplines that are beneficial for human beings. Biological Sciences to study the structure, function, growth, origin, evolution and distribution of living things are disciplines included in the Qur’an. Generally, biological sciences are divided into several areas including anatomy, biophysics, biogeography, biochemistry, marine biology, molecular biology, cell biology, botany, biotechnology, physiology, microbiology, paleontology, pathology, virology and zoology. There are many verses in the Qur’an related to biology. Modern sciences has revealed a number of unique issues mentioned in the Qur’an from a scientific perspective. This study aim at pointing out some of the verses in the Qur’an that are associated with areas of biology related to human senses, the uniqueness of fingerprints, human skin, bacteria and viruses, female biology, seed germination and propagation of human progeny. Results of the survey show that there are many Qur’anic verses that were revealed by God in relation to Biological Sciences.
